Metzgar, Topper Announce Local Fire, EMS Grants in Bedford County

HARRISBURG – Reps. Carl Metzgar (R-Somerset/Bedford) and Jesse Topper (R-Bedford/Franklin/Fulton) announced today that approximately $193,000 in grant funding, from a program administered by the Office of the State Fire Commissioner, were awarded to 16 fire and EMS companies in Bedford County.

To ensure his sacrifice is remembered, the Pennsylvania Route 913 bridge over the Raystown Branch Juniata River in Liberty Township, Bedford County, will be designated as the Sgt. Charles Warsing Memorial Bridge.
